third Weekend Food Distribution
Each month on the third Saturday, Mt. Moriah Outreach Center opens its doors. We serve individuals and families throughout Kernersville and the surrounding communities with our Bread of Life Food Distribution Ministry. This ministry is more than a food pantry. It is an expression of Christ's love, offering nourishment, hope, dignity, and compassion to those in need. Our dedicated volunteers serve faithfully with caring hearts, reflecting our commitment to Seek, Save, and Serve. We meet both physical and spiritual needs within our community.
Bread of Life Food Pantry annual fundraiser
Since May 2011, the Bread of Life Food Pantry has been a cornerstone of Mt. Moriah Outreach Center's commitment to serving our community. Inspired by Bishop Todd Fulton's vision to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of others, the ministry began by distributing $25 Walmart gift cards to families in need. As the demand for assistance grew, so did the ministry, leading to a lasting partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank.
Today, the Bread of Life Food Pantry operates on the third Saturday of every month, faithfully serving underserved families throughout Forsyth County and the surrounding communities. Each year, the ministry reaches more than 4,200 families, distributing over 212 tons of nutritious groceries to households experiencing food insecurity.
Our Annual Bread of Life Fundraiser makes this life-changing ministry possible. Every gift helps provide food, hope, and dignity to families facing difficult times while expanding our ability to serve those in need. Together, we are continuing a ministry that has impacted thousands of lives and distributed more than 1.95 million pounds of food, demonstrating God's love one family at a time.

Annual Mountain Top Worship
The Annual Mountaintop Worship Experience is one of Mt. Moriah Outreach Center's most anticipated gatherings of the year. While some may compare it to a Church Friends and Family Day, it is so much more—it is a powerful experience of worship, fellowship, and joy in the presence of the Lord.
Rooted in the biblical theme of meeting God on the mountain, this gathering encourages attendees to set aside daily distractions and deepen their relationship with God through prayer, worship, and heartfelt fellowship. Its purpose is to inspire spiritual renewal, foster stronger connections among participants, and offer a new vision for their spiritual journey.
Participants enjoy a full experience that includes worship, fellowship, sharing meals, and simply having a good time in the Lord. The day also includes an exciting mountain-climbing excursion, taking in the beauty of waterfalls, and experiencing God's creation firsthand. It is a unique opportunity to connect with God, with nature, and with one another as we celebrate His goodness and seek His direction for the journey ahead.
